About Harriet Tubman Foundation
Our mission is to build stronger, more resilient communities through care, collaboration, and a deep commitment to justice. We combine grassroots leadership with evidence-based practice, focusing our work on Black, Hispanic, and Indigenous communities across Washington State.
Our primary focus is employment and housing for people returning home from incarceration, through Safe Passage in partnership with Re-establishing Hope. We serve Seattle, Tacoma, and communities across Washington State.

Organized community initiatives addressing payday lending and felony disenfranchisement.
Program Director for “Say No To Gangs & Guns and YES to the Arts” in Tacoma.
Facilitated a fellowship program in Gig Harbor honoring grassroots activists.
Helped low-income students access educational opportunities and ran for State Representative.
Part of the Seattle Next Generation Giving Project.
Chair of the Board, Black Policy Foundation.
Organized safety and support during the George Floyd protests with Seattle Black Collective Voice.
Washington State Legislature allocated $200 million to the Community Reinvestment Account.
Dr. Miller received a Presidential Award and an Honorary Doctorate Degree.
